Homeowners Associations (HOAs) offer several benefits to residents, including well-maintained common areas, access to amenities, and enhanced property values. HOAs manage and enforce rules that ensure consistent maintenance and appearance of properties, contributing to a visually harmonious and attractive neighborhood. Additionally, HOAs often provide access to shared amenities such as playgrounds, pavilions, and recreational facilities, which can enhance the quality of life for residents.
HOAs also handle disputes between neighbors, stepping in to mediate issues like barking dogs or noisy parties, thereby reducing conflicts and fostering a more peaceful community.
In terms of property values, HOAs enforce architectural and maintenance standards that help maintain the aesthetic appeal and condition of properties, which can lead to increased property values over time. This is particularly beneficial for homeowners looking to maximize their investment in a property.
The current HOA board calls a meeting of all residents, normally in January. At the meeting, nominations for the five board positions are taken from the floor, and gathered from online submissions. Members present will vote for board members. The Board will also solicit assistance from residents to serve on committees, as a chair or member.
At the annual meeting, outgoing officers present residents the annual status of the Association, covering past and future projects and issues. The Treasurer provides a financial report and annual budget. The Safety & Compliance Chair provides a safety and violations report. The Event Planning Chair provides a community events report.
Voting on any significant changes to Covenants, By-Laws, or other HOA policies will also occur during the annual meeting. Residents are afforded time to ask questions to the Board and Committee members.

HOA Services is our administration company who manges several important tasks for the HOA. HOA Services collects annual dues, handles day to day finances, files annual taxes, and works with Real Estate and Title agencies for the closing of home sales. Their partnership with Frisco Ridge is invaluable to ensure our Association operates as smoothly and efficiently as possible.

Frisco Ridge Homeowners pay an annual fee of $345. The HOA fees are invested back into the neighborhood, paying common area maintenance, landscaping, utilities, and administration resources. All Frisco Ridge Board and Committee members are volunteers and do not receive a salary.
